    The Corporate Cruiser Program allows organizations to subsidize their members’ water taxi use at a discounted rate and also includes discounts and incentives for hosting clients and Private Events board Wendella’s world-class tour boats.     The Corporate Cruiser Program allows organizations to subsidize their members’ water taxi use at a discounted rate by accessing an exclusive web app that tracks member’s water taxi usage.

    $2.50 per one way

    Once a month for prior month.

    How it Works: 
    Once an entity signs up to the Corporate Cruiser Program, their members receive access to an exclusive web app that tracks all water taxi usage. The client is then billed a discounted rate for their member’s water taxi usage. Members will also receive promotional codes to access discounts on Wendella Architecture Tours, Cruises, and Special Events.

  • Where can I purchase tickets on site?

    Tickets may be purchased at any Wendella Ticket Office (Ogilvie/Union Stop, Michigan Avenue Stop), at a Wendella Kiosk or on your mobile device. Credit card payment is accepted at all locations; cash is no longer accepted due to Wendella’s COVID – 19 response plan.

    Tickets are not available for purchase on the water taxi vessels.

    Tickets will be available for purchase when Chicago Water Taxi service resumes in Spring 2022.

  • Are there any discounted fares on Chicago Water Taxi?

    Seniors and Persons With Disabilities receive 50 % off one-way tickets ($3.00). Active Duty Military with valid ID ride free.

  • Does my child need a ticket?

    Children ages 3 years old and younger do not need a ticket on Chicago Water Taxi.

  • Are the water taxis wheelchair accessible?

    Chicago Water Taxi does have limited wheelchair accessible route options that are subject to availability and must be reserved in advance. Please call 312-337-1446 to inquire about availability.

  • Do the water taxis go to Navy Pier?

    Chicago Water Taxi links up to the free Navy Pier trolley at our Michigan Avenue Stop. The trolley picks up at Grand and State, two blocks northwest of the Michigan Avenue Stop and will bring you directly to Navy Pier’s front door.

  • Can I bring strollers or luggage on the water taxis?

    Yes but all luggage is subject to inspection by security personnel.

  • Can I bring pets aboard the water taxis?

    Only service animals are allowed aboard the water taxis.

  • Do water taxi tickets expire?

    One-Ways, Ten Rides, and All-Day Passes do not expire and can be used several seasons after the purchase date. All-Day Passes are only activated upon first use.

  • Are food and drinks allowed on the water taxis?

    Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed on the water taxis. Some limited water taxi routes sell water, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages.
